- The PBO G is an outdoor optical splice protection box developed to meet the needs of FTTP networks.
- Developed as a multi-application solution, the PBO G is used for the termination, transition or the fibre optic extraction out of a distribution cable (maximum Ø 9mm).
- The PBO G box is made of polypropylene (PP) and presents a fibre coiling and storage area.
- This compartment is optimised for the management of fibres to connect and the FO tubes in transition or pending to be connected. The 250µm fibre is preserved from being damaged during FO customer connection jobs. Equipped with 1x8 splitter SC/APC and 8 SC/APC adaptors, the PBO G box enables the direct connection of pre-terminated drop cables (maximum Ø 4mm). With a IP67 ingress protection, the PBO G optical terminal is to be installed on poles (by using pole banding), on a facade or in a manhole (screw mount).
