Cable support bars are used to support cables and joints in underground boxes and chambers. This is to prevent damage to the cable by sagging due to its own weight, mechanical damage or vibration. Copper cables, fibre cables or blown fibre tubing shall only be supported on cable bearers with the use of Cable Support Bar.
